Public art

Public art is extremely helpful to the community around it. Public art raises the value of the area, adds prestige to a city and brings people to an area. Art makes a landscape and area improving life for everyone in the area.

I know what art is

Art is the composition of ideas. Ideas can be thought of and explored but it is not until they are given form that it becomes art. Art is about the ideas expressed by the artist and provoked in the viewer. Strong art is strong ideas.

Art and film

Art and film are one in the same. Since its inception film has been a new art form. Film has advantages over many art forms. It doesn't need to be created in real time, motion can be shown easily and animation provides massive flexibility for the artist. Film is excellent for art and provides unprecedented levels of flexibility in what the artist can do.

Art education in schools

Art should always be taught in school. Whereas science, math and history engages the left side of the brain, english and art should engage the right. Art education allows a student to express themselves, relax and learn to think creatively. Art education is needed to help a student learn to be a balanced person.

Fashion as art

Fashion imitates art and fashion occassionally becomes its own art. Often fashion is created with aesthetic over everything. Modern fashion reflects the ideas in modern art.
